EnCompass Academy (EA) opened its doors in August of 2020. On the heels of an international pandemic, a group of educators, community members, and parents came together to provide personalized learning for students of all abilities. EA uses a proprietary grading system and educational model developed by Nacy Ryerson. The grading system and model allow students to work at a personalized level to master the state education standards and Common Core standards.

EA is passionate about educationally inclusive strength-based education. At Encompass Academy, students are encouraged to develop skills of advocacy, critical thinking, and the art of learning. EA is teacher-powered and allows teachers autonomy in their classrooms to give students what they need when they need it.

Encompass Academy operates on a twelve-month calendar with low student-to-teacher ratios. Students-centered classrooms allow teacher’s the autonomy to support students with what they need when they need it. Surrounding students with a holistic team approach and welcome the integration of therapy opportunities and partnerships when possible. An inclusive learning environment supports learners of all abilities. We provide personalized student portfolios based on the strengths and interests of your child. Finally, EA knows it takes a village to raise successful citizens, so we strive for a high level of communication and collaboration between students, parents, and their team.
